Benefits of Experiential Learning…

All of our workshops and activities are based on the principles of experiential learning.  Experiential learning is the long way of saying learning by doing.  Research shows that participants retain 80% of the content when learning includes experiential activities.  Compare this with a typical 30% retention rate from traditional “didactic” instruction.

The experiential approach allows participants to practice and reflect on new skills and behaviours in a safe and structured environment before trying to implement abstract concepts back at the workplace.  It also allows people to draw on a lifetime of their own experience and discover (or re-discover) latent knowledge, skills, and talents.
