Kids Camps

Our camps are a great place for your child to hang out, play skill-building games, and learn to climb in a safe, supervised and structured environment. We staff at a ratio of at least 1:5 so your child will be well supervised. Our counselors are all experienced camp leaders who love to interact with children.

We take play seriously at The Boiler Room and we know a lot of fun games. Besides learning climbing technique and spending time top roping and bouldering, we also offer a challenge of the day and supervised high and low ropes activities such as: The Bachar Ladder, The Giant's Ladder, The Human Pendulum, Bouldering Cave Dodge Ball, Haul Your Counselor, Chimney Ascent, Tension Traverse, Climbing Olympics and much more!

What to Wear and Bring

Go with loose baggy clothing your child can move easily in or stretchy spandex fabrics – not tight blue jeans. A T-shirt underneath with long sleeves on top to warm up is a common combination. Either shorts or long pants are fine although long pants will protect knees from scrapes. Be sure to send your child with an extra pair of socks if you want them to use our climbing shoes! Trim fingernails and leave removable jewelry at home. We have water, soft drinks, and chocolate bars for sale but we suggest you send your child with a large lunch and 2 snacks (morning/afternoon) for camp and a morning snack for our Kid's and Rock Solid Youth Programs. There is a snack bar next door with sandwiches, pizza etc., open Monday - Friday if they want to buy their lunches on site.
